United Nations: UN chief Antonio Guterres is “outraged” over the bloodbath of civilians in Burkina Faso’s risky north, his spokesperson mentioned Saturday, the deadliest assaults since Islamist violence erupted within the west African nation in 2015.

“The Secretary-Common is outraged by the killing, early at the moment, of over 100 civilians, together with seven youngsters, in an assault by unidentified assailants on a village within the Province of Yagha, within the Sahel Area of Burkina Faso,” Stephane Dujarric mentioned in an announcement.
